ABOUT US
Hello! My name is Cor, which is also Latin for Heart, of which I'm told I have a big one!. I married my high school sweetheart in 2011, after being together for 6 years. He is my biggest supporter in all of my wacky endeavours! When I told him I wanted to become a Placenta Specialist, he didn't even bat an eye. We have two amazing children named Samuel (4.5), and Eloise (2.5). They push me to achieve my dreams.

We are currently awaiting the birth of our third child, in August 2018. Please note that this will effect my availability, so please message me sooner rather than later to discuss!

I'm passionate about all things birth & breastfeeding, attachment parenting, natural living and healing, herbalism, aromatherapy, and cooking new Paleo recipes! When I am not busy handling human organs, I can usually be found at home with my family, and our dog Rory. I love being creative (adult colouring, making jewellery, and interior design), and catching up on my favourite TV shows!

I'm currently pursuing a career as an Educational Assistant. Placentophagy however, is my main passion! I love being able to provide postpartum support.

When my son was born in 2012, I had a passing interest in having his placenta encapsulated, but I didn't have anyone to do it, nor did I know how. So it sat in my freezer for 3 years. In 2014 when my daughter was born, a friend of mine encapsulated it for me, and my postpartum experience was a total difference from my first born! My husband was working out of town for weeks on end, and I was running around after a toddler and a newborn. I was also terrified to experience postpartum depression again. I truly feel that my capsules made a big difference in my energy levels, and my ability to deal with the big changes of going from being a mom of 1, to 2. My daughter is almost three years old, and I still have some of her capsules that I take occasionally. I also made a tincture for her to use when she's older!

So I decided that this was what I wanted to do. I wanted to help give other people the experience I had. Since opening in 2016, I've processed over 80 placentas!

My desire is to help make your postpartum experience as easy and enjoyable as I can!

I hold certifications in both Bloodborne Pathogens and Infection Control, with Biologix. As well as Food Handlers from the province of Manitoba. I have trained with PBi, but chose not to certify with them for various reasons. I am pursuing advanced education with the Association of Placenta Preparation Arts.

Thanks for visiting, hope to talk to you soon!
